About the event

A programme of inner travels connecting you to yourself with the support of nature, other women wa/onderers and hosts Razia Aziz & Anuja Sharma.

Dates: One gathering per seasons over 8 seasons starting spring (March) 2020

Venue: Railway Land & the Linklater Pavilion, Lewes, East Sussex

About: The wa/onderers will be a closed group of up to 10 women committed to attending all 8 gatherings, with a continuous inner thread between one season and the next. You will be invited to engage your intellect, body, creativity and heart, with the gentle support of the hosts and the presence of peer wa/onderers doing the same. This is not a ‘course’. Though there is a programme, there is no target, objective, learning plan or assessment. There’s nothing to achieve and nowhere to go – unless you choose something for yourself. The programme is all about opportunities to drop down from the surface of life to wander and wonder in the deeper streams whose call can get drowned out in the noise of daily demands.

Fees: The programme is run on a donation basis –see overleaf for guidelines.

Mini wa/onderings: We will be holding 2-hour monthly ‘mini wa/onderings’ September to December 2019 (dates tbc) for those who would like to join us and enter into the spirit of wa/ondering. There is no fee for attendance, but please bring a little snack to share.

Contact Razia for further information: e@ razia@waytu.co m: 07976 916250

Dates & Commitment:

The commitment is to one day per season, with dates and themes as follows:

  • Foundation - 21st March 2020
  • Earth - 27th June 2020
  • Vitality - 26th September 2020
  • Identity - 9th January 2021
  • Heart - 20th March 2021
  • Communication - 26th June 2021
  • Insight - 25th September 2021
  • All in all - 8th January 2022

NB: An outline of the themes will be available to those who express an interest

In addition, each wa/onderer commits to:

  • Continuing their journey with themselves between gatherings (suggestions will be offered for this)
  • At least two 1-2-1 meetings with Razia and/or Anuja to ensure we can be as supportive as possible of your journey. What you share with us will remain strictly confidential.

Accessibility: Please contact us if you have any reasonable adjustment needs. We will do our best within our means and abilities to accommodate these. For your information, the Linklater Pavilion is accessible to those with mobility impairments. However, the wa/onderings in Railway Land, though potentially step free, involve navigating rough and potentially muddy paths.

Donation Guide:  In order not to present obstacles to participation, Waytu’s work proceeds on the basis of donation. How much you pay will reflect your ability to pay without hardship and/or the value of the work to you. We would prefer not to be out of pocket when running this programme, so here are some guidelines for donation, assuming a full group of 10 women:

  • £22 per session (£176 in total) would cover all our out of pocket expenses, without paying us for our time
  • £100 per session (£800 in total) would pay both us a low day rate for our time
  • £150 per session (£1200 in total) would pay us both a modest day rate for our time
  • £200 per session (£1600 in total) would pay us both a freelance market rate for our time
